Candle
Complete relaxation. Eyes closed, the smell of "Midsummers Night" wafts around the room. Inhale deeply, Everything is perfect, Even if it's just for a few seconds. The fire dances, Casting shadows on the walls. Complete relaxation.
Wow, that's awesome. I want it to be longer, but the real beauty of it is that it's so short, just like the moment you described. It might make the rest of the readers want more, but then it'd be worse by dragging it out. My only real gripe with this is that it took you so long to get another post up! And I like the new layout(:
